Don’t tell me this is old news

lil wayne all agesThis punk has lost his mind lil Wayne has transformed a poignant moment in civil rights history into a mere sexual reference, how far does the freedom of speech goes when anyone can say anything? Don’t get me wrong I’m not for censoring either it’s needed when criticizing local state and federal level government officials who have failed to represent its citizens, there need to be unrestricted dialogue to voice grievances, but what happens when large media corporations unleash irresponsible youth who some time have a major influence on the masses of everyday youths and could easily influence a new generation,  be it good or bad there is always a degree of danger, but I think as long as the danger stays in the black and impoverished communities it’s not a big issue to white America.  lil Wayne reference to Emmitt Till in the music goes, “beat the P@$$y up like Emmitt Till”,  Many were I’ll and wanted to protest his music, Miss Pat from street sweeper radio hosted by DJ Kay slay the drama King on Shade 45 Sirius XM radio says she sees nothing wrong with it, it at least bring awareness to those who don’t know who Emmitt Till was, a co-host challenged her on it but she didn’t back down, I hope she never becomes a promoter or A & R I can see why irresponsibility exist.  Lil Wayne didn’t think about bringing awareness to Emmitt Till at all when he spat that mindless rhetoric in the recording booth, if Miss Pat thinks that is how the new generation learns about black history a lot will be distorted in the process, and this is far beyond irresponsible its indecent it’s an insult to this person who was savagely beaten to death by inhuman hillbillies in the south.
